Liberty Baptist Church

The mission of Liberty Baptist Church of Marshalltown, Iowa, is to reach Marshalltown and surrounding communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We have since expanded by having a presence on the internet to include reaching all parts of the world through proactive evangelization.  We have live audio streaming of Pastor Randy Mason's sermons so that any person anywhere in the world can hear the Word of God.  Sermons are archived for your convenience to allow for listening at any time day or night.   Pastor Mason's sermons are broadcast live each Sunday morning and evening on the Internet. 

Recognizing that Marshalltown is unique in the sense that it has a growing Hispanic population, a special emphasis is placed on reaching this cultural group with the Gospel.  Simply put, we believe that through the empowering of the Holy Spirit we can be used of God to fulfill the Great Commission of leading people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and then seeing the new Christian follow the ordinances spoken of by Jesus (Communion and Baptism).  Furthermore, it is the mission of LBC to provide discipleship and mentoring so that the new convert will take on the task of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their local community and then throughout the world.  It is the mission of LBC to be an inclusive church in that we will reach out to people of all cultures, race, and age with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We will commit to daily prayer for one another and always seek to show love and compassion, realizing that the greatest act of compassion is to share the Gospel of Jesus.
